DHU has established favourable partnership with more than 100 well-known universities, research institutions and enterprises worldwide.
In 2010, DHU was approved by MOE for the "20 + 20 Cooperation Program between Sino-African Universities";
In 2015, DHU cooperated with Moi University to establish the first Confucius Institute in Moi University focusing on textile and apparel;
In 2014, DHU built the Shanghai International College of Fashion and Innovation jointly with University of Edinburgh;
In addition, DHU has worked actively with Carleton University, Reutlingen University and Bunka Fashion College to offer degrees or diploma education programs.
To date, DHU has brought up a total of 4,774 international students from over 130 countries (regions), among which 1,094 are getting diplomas. In particular, GSSBM has 354 international students studying for bachelor, master and doctoral degrees.
GSSBM has established partnership with over 30 universities in UK, France, Germany, the United States, South Korea, Thailand, Sweden, Finland, Spain, Canada and other countries, as well as Hong Kong, Taiwan and other regions to implement exchange programs, joint training and study tours. From 2014 to 2016, it has provided exchange learning opportunities (to study abroad for one semester as an exchange student) for more than 250 students and organized a number of short-term academic visits for MBA/EMBA students in overseas universities. For example, in August and October 2016, 80 MBA students went to the University of Notre Dame for a weekly study trip, in two groups.
The international students studying in GSSBM consists of three parts:
1) There are 160 international students from all over the world studying for bachelor, master or doctoral degree.
2) DHU initiated CIP international program in 2009 and to date, has celebrated 179 graduates. Currently, there are three majors (business administration, international trade and marketing) and 194 undergraduates from 60 countries.
3) DHU has set up a CEP platform for exchange students to take elective courses offered by GSSBM faculty. The number of enrollment is about 30 per semester.
